Woman accuses boyfriend of kicking her car: Brunswick Hills Township Police Blotter

Disturbance: Juniper Lane

Police were called to a home at 2:21 p.m. June 28 regarding a disturbance.

They spoke to a woman at the scene who said she was the girlfriend of the homeowner and had come to the residence to speak to him about their relationship.

The Elyria woman said the man became upset, shoved her and kicked her vehicle before leaving.

The man later issued a statement to police saying that the woman had entered his home uninvited and against his wishes.

The matter remained under investigation at the time of the report.


Fraud: Barlow Drive

A man reported more than $800 fraudulently charged to his credit card June 30.

The purchases were made at a variety of online stores, with packages delivered to two hotels in Brunswick and Medina.

At the Medina hotel, police were able to trace a suspect to a Florida address and a Nebraska phone number.

Hotel management added that the suspect had made a booking in the victim’s name.

The victim was being reimbursed by his credit card company.

The case was still under investigation at the time of the report.
