Superstar Caitlin Clark will miss another game for the Fever (13–12) as she recovers from a right groin injury. It will be the fourth consecutive game that the WNBA’s face has been missed. This season, she has missed 11 games, including the All-Star Game, because of three different leg problems. Due to an injury, Clark was also unable to play in the previous game against the Sky.

On average, she shoots 36.7% from the field, including 27.9% from beyond the arc, and scores 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.6 steals.

The Fever are in a purgatory-like position as they fight through Clark’s availability to qualify for the playoffs, and her absence has severely hampered her chances of winning Rookie of the Year. When Clark is playing, Indiana is 8-5; when she is not, they are 4-7.

On July 24, the Fever defeated the Las Vegas Aces 80-70 to end a two-game losing streak. With 21 points, Kelsey Mitchell was the team’s top scorer.

Stars Aliyah and Mitchell Although Boston will take center stage, Indiana boasts a wealth of skill that can shine in any match. With a plus-4.8 net rating, the Fever are ranked fourth.

Anticipate Natasha Howard to continue taking the brunt of the load, particularly while against a terrible defense. She is shooting 55.6% from the field and scoring 12 points on average per game. With Clark off the court, Howard is even more effective, averaging 12.8 points and 7.3 rebounds. In three of her last five games, she has scored eighteen points.

This season, the Fever have defeated the Sky by 25 and 27 points in both of their matches.

The Sky (7–17) are still having trouble because their opponents have dominated them several times this season. Chicago has suffered four straight losses after being thrashed by 13, 37, 23, and 38 points throughout that time.

The Seattle Storm shellacked them 95-57 in their most recent defeat. With 13 points apiece, Kamilla Cardoso and Rachel Banham lead the team.

Their incapacity to score and defend is the root of the team’s numerous problems. The Sky have struggled to score in the seventies in their previous three games and rank 12th in defensive ratings.

Reese is shooting 44.8% from the field and averaging 13.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists. She has a back issue and is marked as doubtful. The spectacular double-double did not play in the most recent game versus the Storm.

The injury report identifies Michaela Onyenwere, Hailey Van Lith, and both as questionable. Courtney Vandersloot, Moriah Jefferson, and Ariel Atkins are all absent.
