Texas Christopher Calhoun, 44, is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after an incident involving his wife at a motel in May. The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is requesting the public’s assistance in finding him.
According to the authorities, after his wife confronted him about an affair, Calhoun attacked her inside their room at the La Quinta Inn in Round Rock.
The family had been residing in hotels for around two months after suffering a large financial loss and being forced out of their apartment.
Calhoun left the scene of the incident and hasn’t been seen since. Later, a worried motorist discovered his wife and their three kids strolling beside the road.
The woman reported the attack to the Round Rock Police Department after being driven there by the driver.
After being brought to a hospital, a scan showed that she had a shattered facial bone close to her left eye.
According to court documents, Calhoun was previously charged with domestic violence in San Diego, California, in 2013. He weighs 190 pounds, stands 5 feet 11 inches tall, and has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
According to authorities, Calhoun might still be in the Austin region, potentially residing in a motel.
