Georgia According to investigators, a gunshot occurred at an apartment complex in northwest Atlanta early Saturday afternoon, leaving two youngsters hospitalized.
The Atlanta Police Department reports that at approximately 12:50 p.m., officers were called to the Fairburn Gordon Apartments in response to a shooting incident.
Officers discovered two male victims, ages 10 and 15, at the scene.
According to the police, both youngsters were alive and awake when emergency personnel arrived. To receive treatment, they were taken to a local hospital.
Investigators think a disagreement about a romance was the cause of the shooting. The inquiry is being conducted by the department’s Aggravated Assault Unit.
