Ohio The Cincinnati Police Department reports that a drive-by shooting in Hanna Park in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood late Monday night injured two persons.

According to authorities, the shooting happened at Hanna Playground just before midnight when a white Honda driver opened fire on a group of 20 to 30 persons.

After suffering potentially fatal injuries, one of the victims was taken by EMS to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where his condition is stable.

After being shot in the arm and leg, the second victim was driven to the same hospital and is likewise described as stable. The two men are in their forties.

At least 19 round casings were discovered by officers near Stark Street, the site of the gunfire. The inquiry is still underway, and no one has been taken into custody.

Although the area has subsequently been cleared by authorities, there is still crime tape near the park’s entrance.
