After two males were discovered shot dead on the north side of Indianapolis early Sunday morning, police are looking into a double homicide.
Officers were dispatched to investigate a death at the junction of West 43rd Street and Cornelius Avenue shortly before 8 a.m., according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
Two men who had been shot were lying in the street when they got there. At the scene, both were declared dead.
The victims’ identities and whether they were related to one another have not been made public by the police. The exact time of the shooting is still being investigated.
As of yet, no suspects have been named. IMPD, however, asserts that the public is not in danger. The inquiry is still under progress.
