Two people arrested following drug bust in South Carolina

South Carolina After a large-scale narcotics bust at a Greer residence, authorities have taken a South Carolina man into custody.

As part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug distribution in the area, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office carried out a search warrant at a property on Kentmont Lane earlier this week.

During the search, deputies found the following things and identified the homeowner as Kenneth Shane Bridges:

  • 348.65 grams of methamphetamine
  • 30.09 grams of fentanyl
  • 112.71 grams of marijuana
  • 14.19 grams of psychedelic mushrooms
  • 122 assorted Schedule II, III, and IV controlled substance pills
  • $3,487 in cash

Methamphetamine and fentanyl trafficking, possession with intent to distribute (PWID) Schedule I III controlled substances, PWID Schedule I, PWID Schedule IV, and committing a violent crime while on bond for another violent crime were among the numerous charges brought against Bridges after his arrest.

Devin Lacey Clay was also taken into custody by deputies on the spot. She was accused of giving police misleading information.

The inquiry is still under progress.
