Ohio Authorities say a police pursuit that started in Garfield Heights and concluded in a wreck in Cleveland on Friday night resulted in the arrest of two persons.
According to Garfield Heights police, the incident began at approximately 5:20 p.m. when undercover agents saw a drug exchange.
Officers attempted to block the suspects’ vehicle as they tried to flee the scene.
After that, the driver allegedly crashed into an Ohio Investigative Unit car and ran away, leading to a pursuit that ended in a collision in Cleveland, according to the police.
At the site, the driver and the passenger were arrested.
Officers reported discovering a loaded pistol, $3,334 in cash, 38 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 23 grams of suspected cocaine, and eight grams of suspected fentanyl inside the car.
The inquiry is still under progress.
