Ohio A narcotics-related search warrant was executed at a Lakeview apartment early Saturday morning, leading to the arrest of two individuals.
Members of the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force conducted a search of a residence located at 11767 Williams Drive on June 28 at around one in the morning.
Vicki Cooper, 55, was detained for violating her probation, while Franklin Hurley, 47, was arrested on suspicion of selling methamphetamine.
During the search, authorities found a significant quantity of methamphetamine and other contraband.
More criminal charges are anticipated, and the investigation is still underway.
Authorities noted that the bust assisted in preventing drugs from entering the community and attributed the operation’s success to the collaboration of other local law enforcement organizations.
Officers from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Russells Point Police Department, Washington Township Police Department, West Liberty Police Department, and Logan County Adult Parole Authority are part of the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force.
