Two people arrested following drug bust in North Carolina

North Carolina The Greenville Police Department reports that two individuals were taken into custody on drug trafficking charges after a police operation in the 3700 block of Bostic Drive on Monday, June 23.

Kimani C. Blount, 19, of Greenville, was discovered in possession of at least 28 grams of heroin, according to warrants.

He faces charges of both cocaine trafficking and opium or heroin trafficking.

The same drug trafficking accusations were brought against Quamari Neandre Blount, who was also taken into custody.

He has also been accused of failing to maintain lane control and driving with a revoked license. According to the authorities, he also had at least 28 grams of heroin on him.

The Pitt County Detention Center is holding both men on $500,000 secured bonds.
