Two people arrested following drug bust in Kansas

Kansas In a search conducted Monday as part of an ongoing investigation into drug distribution, the Salina Drug Task Force detained two individuals and found a significant amount of marijuana, cocaine, and guns.

A search warrant was carried out by police at a home in the 800 block of Navajo.

Inside the house, authorities discovered many guns, cocaine, and more than five pounds of marijuana. When the warrant was served, three minors under the age of eighteen were present.

Ira Autrey Jr., age 36, and Victoria Ring, age 29, who lived at the residence, were both arrested without incident.

Possession of marijuana and stimulants with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, and aggravated endangerment of a child were among the accusations that led to their booking into the Saline County Jail.

In addition, Autrey is charged with felony firearm possession, criminal use of a firearm, and possession of a handgun by a person under the influence of drugs.

The inquiry is still under progress.
