Florida The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said on Saturday that a large quantity of illegal substances was found by Hillsborough County deputies during a search in Tampa, leading to the arrest of a man and a woman on Friday.
The 13600 block of North 20th Street is where the search warrant was carried out.
The warrant’s target—a home or a car—was not made clear by the authorities.
Deputies recovered during the operation:
- 28 grams of cocaine
- 20 grams of crack cocaine
- 59 grams of methamphetamine
- 2 grams of fentanyl
- 209 grams of marijuana
- Various drug paraphernalia
The sheriff’s office conducted a three-month investigation before the bust.
Rashawn Duley, 33, was taken into custody and is charged with 22 offenses, including illegally using a two-way communications device, delivering a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, and trafficking in amphetamine (28 to 200 grams).
Mekka Mason, 30, was also arrested and charged with six offenses, including cocaine possession, cannabis possession with intent to sell, and amphetamine trafficking.
The inquiry is still under progress.
