Columbus, OhioJeremiah Smith of Ohio State football has come to be associated with fame.
Despite only starting his second season of collegiate football, the exceptional wide receiver is already one of the most well-known athletes in the league.
His appearance on ESPN’s SportsCenter this week was therefore not surprising.
As part of ESPN’s 50 States in 50 Days trip, Smith was interviewed by presenter Matt Barrie on Thursday following the Buckeyes’ first preseason session.
Ryan Day, the head coach, was the only other Buckeye to be interviewed.
Smith was questioned about how his life has altered throughout the segment. After inhaling deeply, he laughed and responded to the query.
“I should say that it changed a lot,” Smith stated. On campus, you really can’t go anywhere. Everyone is aware of my identity, etc. That’s probably the largest thing, in my opinion.
