How did you play today, in your opinion?
As I mentioned previously, I feel like I can definitely get better in a lot of areas. I’m simply thrilled about the chance to play outside.
What is the most important lesson you learnt or gained from training camp?
The most important lesson I’ve learnt is to connect with my coworkers, build relationships, and bond with everyone.
How do you feel about roster cut-downs occurring three days from now? Do you think you fit in with this team?
Of course. Overall, I believe I’ve worked hard as a player. I feel like I do my hardest at everything I do, and that’s all I can hope for. Everyone seems to believe that they belong on the team. If you ask any member of the team if they feel like they belong, they will say that they do. I’m my own player, yet I feel like I do. Naturally, I hold myself in high respect. I didn’t make that choice.
Do you think you’ve demonstrated enough over the preseason to warrant your presence here?
Yes.
What prevented you from being on the field during the game’s last drive?
I mean, I didn’t make the choice. It wasn’t me because, of course, that is every quarterback’s fantasy and what they thrive on in those situations. When quarterback Tyler Huntley entered and took care of his business, I was pleased. He would be the one to do it if anyone else did.
How did you feel during the game, oblique?
It will always be a little delicate, of course, but I don’t care about that.
What was your overall impression of training camp and these two preseason games?
It was fantastic all around. Every day was a fresh start, and you learn new things and valuable life lessons in every circumstance. I’m grateful for the chance as I leave training camp.
