South Carolina The Chester Police Department has made seven arrests in relation to a gunshot that happened at the Chester Heights Apartments on Sunday, June 22, and injured an 18-year-old woman.
The gunshot on Dawson Drive happened at approximately 11:30 p.m. According to the police, a number of people started shooting at each other in the parking lot.
An 18-year-old lady was shot in the back during the incident. Before police came, a friend drove her to MUSC Health in Chester.
She is said to be in stable condition after being moved to a hospital in Columbia.
Within hours of the incident, five individuals were taken into custody. Additionally, on June 26, two more people were arrested.
Officers carried out numerous search warrants as part of the inquiry and found a number of items of evidence, including five weapons.
The adults listed below were taken into custody:

, 19, of Chester charged with breach of peace (high and aggravated) -
Wil Mariee Patterson
, 19, of Chester charged with breach of peace (high and aggravated) -
Ja Taves Cherry
, 19, of Columbia charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime
Four minors were also taken into custody:
- Two 16-year-olds and two 15-year-olds each charged with breach of peace (high and aggravated)
