Seven people arrested following drug bust in Ohio

Ohio According to the Bellefontaine Police Department, a months-long drugs investigation culminated Friday night in the execution of multiple search warrants and the arrest of many people.

Around 7:20 p.m., deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office and officers and detectives from the Bellefontaine Police Department executed search and arrest warrants at Brian C. Mees’ home at 417 East Auburn Avenue, starting the coordinated operation.

Brian C. Mees, De Andre L. Tucker, and Chase M. Whiting were the three people arrested at the scene.

When Whiting tried to escape on foot, Bellefontaine Police K9 Pyro and his handler, Officer Hostetler, caught him.

After receiving treatment for his dog bite injuries at Mary Rutan Hospital, he was eventually placed under arrest. Logan County Jail received bookings for all three of them.

Following the execution of more warrants at 417 North Detroit Street, Jeffrey C. Clark, Tonja M. Parsley, Timothy E. Clark, and Roscelle Clark were taken into custody.

Officers said they discovered indications of drug use and trafficking at the house. The Logan County Jail also housed all four.

Additional searches were carried out at Whiting’s apartments 7C and 14E at 450 Kristina Drive.

Investigators found more evidence linked to the ongoing case at those places, despite the fact that no people were there.

During the activities, no officers or deputies were reported injured. The investigation is still ongoing, according to the authorities, and more charges could be brought.
