More than twenty years have passed since Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan starred in the Disney Freaky Friday remake. starring as Anna and Tess’s daughter-mother pair, who, after mysteriously switching bodies, developed a deeper understanding and respect for one another.
This week, the cast and stars of Freakier Friday, the sequel, gathered in London for the movie’s British premiere. Above are pictures from the event.
What is Freakier Friday about?
Harper, portrayed by Julia Butters, is now the only child of Lohan’s character Anna. The two find their relationship strained after meeting and falling for a new guy, Manny Jacinto’s character Eric.
Lily (Sophia Hammons), Harper’s classmate and eventual stepsister, is the issue. The two girls decide to work together to prevent the wedding because they don’t like each other.
As anticipated, there is another body swap, and mayhem follows. The four women—Tess, Anna, Harper, and Lily—find themselves in a different body this time.
When can I see Freakier Friday at the theater?
On August 8, Freakier Friday opens at theaters around the area.
