Grand theft vehicle: Mars Avenue

A resident at 7:59 p.m. on July 10 reported the theft of a vehicle. His Ring security camera at 6 p.m. captured video of the theft, according to a police event report.


Disorderly conduct: Detroit Avenue

A Discount Drug Mart employee at 4:42 p.m. on July 5 reported that a man stole a bottle of wine and left the store at Detroit and Cohassett Avenue in an eastbound direction. An officer stopped a man matching the suspect’s description at Detroit and Ridgewood Avenue. The officer recovered an unopened bottle of wine, which was returned to the store. The store decided not to prosecute, but he was ordered not to return to the store or he could be charged with trespassing. Police arrested the suspect for disorderly conduct while intoxicated, according to a police event report.


Public indecency, disorderly conduct: Detroit Avenue

A witness called the police department at 8:27 p.m. on July 5 to report that a man was exposing himself to people walking and driving by on Detroit near Parkhaven Row. An officer arrested a suspect for public indecency and disorderly conduct while intoxicated.


Criminal damaging: North Lane Drive

An apartment resident at 9:21 p.m. on July 5 reported finding the back driver side window of his car broken out.


Theft: Northwood Avenue

A resident at 10:43 p.m. on July 5 reported that a laptop and PlayStation gaming system were missing from their residence.


Disorderly conduct: Clifton Boulevard

Officers responded at 2:44 a.m. on July 6 to a report of a group of people pushing each other and yelling on Clifton Boulevard near Gladys Avenue. A male and a female were cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and released.


Disorderly conduct: Lakeland Avenue

A resident at 5:42 a.m. on July 6 reported spotting someone sleeping in his front yard. An officer arrested a male suspect on a charge of disorderly conduct while intoxicated and released him to his sober roommate.


OVI: Clifton Boulevard

A witness at 11:11 p.m. on July 6 flagged down a police officer and reported seeing an SUV driven by a possibly intoxicated driver. The officer stopped the suspect’s vehicle and arrested a man for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.


OVI: Detroit Avenue

A patrol officer at 2:21 a.m. on July 9 spotted a vehicle on Detroit Avenue near Larchmont Avenue driven by a suspected drunk driver. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving under suspension.


Theft: Edgewater Drive

An apartment resident on July 10 reported that her bicycle was stolen from the parking garage overnight.
