Cleveland, Ohio The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced a recall of Ritz snack cracker sandwiches in a variety of carton sizes that were distributed across the country by Mondel z Global LLC.
Individually wrapped packs that might be mistakenly labeled as cheese varieties even though the product may actually be peanut butter varieties are included in the impacted cartons. Eating the product puts those who are allergic to peanuts or have a severe sensitivity to them at risk for potentially fatal allergic reactions.
The impacted outer boxes include accurate labels and a warning that peanuts are present in the product.
The 20-pack Ritz Filled Cracker Sandwich Variety Pack carton and eight-, twenty-, and forty-pack Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwich cartons are recalled.

Eight packs of Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches, each weighing 11.4 ounces (eight x 1.38 ounces). UPC: 88210 5 0 44000. Best-by dates (AE plant code only): 1–9 November 25.
Twenty Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches (20 x 1.38 ounces, six-pack carton), each weighing 27.6 ounces. UPC: 0 44000 07584 2. Best-by dates are November 1–9, January 2–22, and January 26. only the AE plant code.
There are 40 Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker Sandwiches in a 55.2-ounce box (40 x 1.38-ounce). UPC: 0 44000 07819 5. AM plant code only; best-by dates: 1 November 25–9 November 25; 2 January 26–22 January 26.
20-count variety pack of 27.3-ounce Ritz Filled Cracker Sandwiches (20 packs of 10 1.38-ounce cheese and 10 peanut butter packets). 034400008095 2 is the UPC. Best-by dates: November 2–9, exclusively with the RJ plant code.

Any of the recalled products should be thrown away by customers who are allergic to peanuts.
