INDIANA James Tackett, a 5-foot-8, 190-pound white man with brown hair and hazel eyes, is wanted by Elkhart County officials.
As of June 18, 2025, Tackett is wanted for trafficking a controlled narcotic to an inmate in violation of probation. On suspicion of burglary, he is also wanted.
Anyone with information regarding Tackett’s location is encouraged to get in touch with Michiana Crime Stoppers or Elkhart County law enforcement.
Authorities caution the public not to approach Tackett and warn that he should be viewed as dangerous.
