Getting property that has been stolen: Bonnieview Avenue
On July 15, at 2:18 p.m., a Flock license plate reading camera reported seeing a reported stolen car. A police event report states that the driver got out of the car and leaped over a fence when an officer followed the vehicle as it stopped into a driveway on Bonnieview Avenue. At 2:35 p.m., a suspect who was hiding in bushes close to the train tracks east of Edwards Avenue was apprehended by officers. The car was reported stolen from Independence, according to the police.
Detroit Avenue is the site of arson.
According to a Lakewood Police Department event report, around 3:15 p.m. on July 13, a security officer at the Cleveland Clinic Lakewood Emergency Department reported a first-floor lavatory fire with smoke emanating from the restroom door. Paper was purposefully used to start the fire. The report stated that it was put out and that a man suspect was taken into custody for arson.
Theft of bicycles: Northland Avenue
A 2025 brown Kona Dew bicycle was reported stolen from the backyard overnight or the previous evening by a resident at 2:13 p.m. on July 14.
Theft of bicycles: Clifton Boulevard
At 4 p.m. on July 14, a resident stated that while he was inside a neighboring store, his adult blue bicycle was taken from the junction of Clifton Boulevard and W. 117th Street.
Unruly behavior: Detroit Avenue
At 4:38 p.m. on July 14, the manager of a Rite Aid pharmacy called the police department to report that a guy who might have been intoxicated was inside the store. According to a police event record, the defendant was apprehended by an officer for disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
Detroit Avenue bike theft
She reported that her bicycle was stolen from outside a store on Detroit Avenue close to Waterbury Road at 8:10 p.m. on July 14. The owner stated that she wanted the issue to be noted but did not want it to be prosecuted.
Franklin Boulevard was the assault site.
On July 15, at 7:30 p.m., officers were called to a parking lot on Franklin Boulevard close to Ridgewood Avenue where two individuals were arguing. A police event report states that a male suspect was taken into custody for assault.
OVI: Avenue Detroit
A female suspect was arrested for driving under the influence on July 17 at 12:52 a.m. by an officer on Detroit Avenue close to Haferalz Court.
Unruly behavior: W. Clifton Boulevard
On July 19, at 12:43 a.m., a caller reported seeing a male who was not responding lying on the ground close to Detroit Avenue and W. Clifton Boulevard. A male suspect was apprehended by an officer for disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol.
OVI: Warren Road
On July 19, at 1:52 a.m., a female was apprehended by an officer for driving under the influence on Warren Road close to Franklin Boulevard.
