The state of Virginia During operations between June 12 and June 18, Virginia State Police, working with federal and local law enforcement agencies, retrieved firearms, a significant amount of drugs, and explosive devices.
Officers found 67.3 pounds of drugs with an estimated street value of $339,824 and confiscated three weapons worth around $1,500, according to a department report.
63.9 pounds of marijuana, 4.2 ounces of cocaine, 4 ounces of ketamine, 3.2 ounces of MDMA, 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.3 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 0.5 ounces of fentanyl, and 1.3 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms were among the substances seized.
In the course of their investigations, authorities also confiscated $3,554 in cash. Police also opened a new homicide probe after recovering two explosive devices.
During the same time frame, the department also reported receiving 18 additional human trafficking tips, increasing the total to 1,030.
66 victims have been identified and offered support services, while 215 instances have been investigated or are still being examined.
A total of 1,564 gaming-related tips have been received thus far, including three more alerts about illicit gaming activities. These issues are still being looked upon.
