Georgia One guy was hurt in a gunshot at the Woodland Trail Apartments on North Davis Road, which is being looked into by the LaGrange Criminal Investigation Division.
Police say Michael Ford tried to leave the scene and was taken into custody Thursday.
Aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a handgun during certain felonies are among the other counts against him.
According to the police, at the time of the shooting, Ford was already on parole for aggravated assault and attempted murder.
Robert Sellers, the victim, was transported to a nearby hospital where he is receiving treatment for non-life-threatening wounds.
