Mississippi A shooting occurred Tuesday morning at the intersection of Raymond Road and Siwell Road, leaving one person dead and another in arrest.
The area was cordoned off for investigation when the Jackson Police Department arrived at the incident close to the Auto One car care facility.
Police subsequently verified that a suspect had been apprehended and that one person had been murdered in the event.
Neither the victim’s nor the suspect’s identities have been made public yet.
The inquiry is still under progress.
