Ohio The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that a motorcycle and a John Deere tractor collided fatally in Lewis Township on Tuesday night.
The crash occurred in the 7000 block of Love Road at approximately 8:35 p.m.
According to authorities, Ricky Laws, 56, was riding a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle north when it collided with the side of a John Deere model 3005 tractor that was in the road removing a fallen tree.
Both drivers were thrown out of their cars. At the scene, Laws was declared deceased.
Eddie Shoemaker, 68, the tractor’s operator, was sent to Mount Orab Mercy Hospital after suffering minor injuries.
The collision is being looked into by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
