Illinois An SUV and a motorcycle collided at a busy junction in Naperville Thursday night, killing a 26-year-old Woodridge man.
to around 9:35 p.m., Naperville police and fire personnel arrived to the intersection of Chicago Avenue and Naper Boulevard.
When first responders arrived, they discovered that a VinFast SUV and a Suzuki motorcycle had collided.
Despite attempts to save his life, the biker, Dante Fields, was declared dead at the site.
A preliminary examination found that Fields entered the intersection with a green signal while driving quickly east on Chicago Avenue.
The motorcycle collided with the passenger side of the SUV as it was turning left onto southbound Naper Boulevard while traveling west on Maple Street.
As of yet, no citations have been issued. The crash is still being looked into by the Naperville Police Department.
