INDIANA The Madison County Sheriff’s Department reports that a car collision at the Madison County/Grant County border on Thursday afternoon claimed one life and wounded five others.
About two miles west of Madison-Grant Jr./Sr. High School and State Road 9, at the intersection of 1900 North and 200 West, the collision happened about 2:30 p.m.
One individual was declared deceased at the site, according to authorities. Three were taken from the scene for medical treatment, while five others were injured.
In order to identify the individuals involved and ascertain the events leading up to the collision, the Madison County Sheriff’s Department is still looking into the collision.
