Tennessee The Memphis Police Department reports that one man was killed and another was critically injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred early Thursday morning in northeast Memphis.
The collision happened at the intersection of Jackson and Wales Avenues shortly before one in the morning.
According to police, one man was taken to Regional One Health in serious condition, and another was declared dead at the site.
One car was heading north on Jackson Avenue when it ran a red light and collided with another car that was heading south on Jackson and trying to turn east on Wales Avenue with a green arrow, investigators said.
The inquiry is still under progress. No other information has been made public.
