Ohio The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office reports that a man was murdered Wednesday morning after being hit on Interstate 275 close to Winton Road.
Around five in the morning, the incident happened in the eastbound lanes. The victim’s identification has not yet been made public by authorities.
As firefighters arrived on the site, eastbound traffic on I-275 was stopped for about three hours.
Just after 8 a.m., lanes were once again open, but traffic was still being rerouted at the Hamilton Avenue exit while the road gradually cleared.
It’s still unknown how many cars were involved, why the man was in the road, and if anyone else was hurt.
The inquiry is still under progress.
