One person arrested in connection to deadly shooting incident in South Carolina

South Carolina A 17-year-old Myrtle Beach girl has been taken into custody in relation to the shooting death of a teen in Johnsonville, Florence County.

Gianna Kistenmacher was arrested on Monday and charged with accessory before the fact to a felony, according to Florence County Sheriff T.J. Joye.

No more information regarding her purported involvement has been made public.

Around midnight on June 25, a shooting broke out in the 400 block of North 1st Neck Road.

Devan Raper, 19, of Conway, was previously accused by the authorities of murder and possessing a weapon while committing a violent crime.

Trey Dean Wright was recognized by the Florence County Coroner’s Office as the victim. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where his injuries ultimately caused his death.

The Florence County Detention Center is now holding Raper without bond. Kistenmacher’s bond is still pending.
