One person arrested following drug bust Texas

Texas Police said a 33-year-old gang member from Arizona was captured selling drugs, leading to his arrest in Downtown Dallas on Wednesday night.

Around 9 p.m., Downtown Task Force officers were patrolling North Lamar Street on foot when they noticed Dencel Idris selling drugs.

Police claim that Idris tried to run away but was apprehended after being tased.

Idris was apprehended with around 26 grams of cocaine, according to the authorities.

After more research, it was discovered that Idris is a known gang member and is wanted on several criminal warrants in Arizona.

Idris is accused with manufacturing or delivering a restricted substance as well as avoiding arrest or imprisonment. He is presently being held at the Dallas County Jail on $80,000 in bonds.
