Ohio’s Brunswick Hills Township
Vehicle usage without permission, Marks Road
On August 4, a mother called the police to complain that her son had not yet returned the car she had lent him on August 1, most likely for a few days. She claimed that when she attempted to reach her son, he did not pick up the phone. Cleveland Police stopped the car at 2:30 a.m. on August 5 after the Flock camera system identified it in many Cuyahoga County communities. The vehicle was turned over to Brunswick Hills Police and driven to the Medina County Jail by the caller’s son.
Unruly behavior, Marks Road
At 7:48 p.m. on August 15, police were called to a convenience store on Marks Road in response to a report of disorderly conduct. On their way to a Valley City festival, a man and a woman apparently got into a fight at the convenience shop. The man claims that during the dispute, the woman grabbed him by the neck before walking away. Both received citations for unruly behavior.
Center Road, menacing
At 9:09 p.m. on August 13, a woman reported to the police that she had received a text from her ex-boyfriend saying she would never see [her child] again. When police called the man, he claimed he wouldn’t hurt the child and was referring to the woman’s alleged mistreatment of the child, which resulted in the child being taken from her by children’s services. The man was instructed by the police to stop talking to the woman.
