Check out the (spoiler-free) episode 1 recap:
In episode 1, “NDAs and DNA,” the group is still dealing with the aftermath from the tumultuous trip to Los Angeles. Chris’s remarks on nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and social media turmoil have Martell under criticism, turning every private discussion into fodder for the public.
As their long-simmering problems come to a climax in front of the cast, tensions between Ken and Marques flare up as old wounds reappear. Anticipation of how that confrontation will develop is increased throughout the show.
The emotional stakes are elevated as the couples try to get back together: alliances are put to the test, trust is questioned, and the emotional damage from the vacation trip remains. At this point, almost every interaction feels burdensome.
