Lakewood, Ohio The 50th anniversary of Eric Carmen’s debut solo album will be celebrated with a tribute performance at the Lakewood Project on November 25.
The Eric Carmen Band, the Lakewood Project, the Lakewood High School Orchestra, and alumni will all perform at the Lakewood Civic Auditorium.
The production will be joined by special guest vocalists.
Elizabeth Hankins, the director of the Lakewood High School orchestra, and Stephen Knill, a former entertainment marketing executive and bassist on Carmen’s 1975 album of the same name, are executive producers of the concert.
According to a press release from Hankins, “We are excited to be a part of this amazing event, bringing together a passionate Lakewood High School team — musicians, educators, crew, venue staff, and collaborators — united by a love of the arts.”
It has particular significance for our program and is sure to be a night to remember in the rich history of our musical adventure.
“It is an immense honor to perform Eric’s number one hit All By Myself and other fan favorites again with this fantastic group of musicians, many of whom have worked with him in the past,” Stephen Knill stated in the same announcement.
Eric’s songs will come to life in a way that has never been possible before thanks to this combined production. All of that is possible because of our collaboration with Lakewood High School.

Tragic events at the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival will conclude its 2025 season with free Macbeth presentations.
This includes a show in Lakewood Park on Friday, August 1st, at 7 p.m.
According to Rachel Gold, artistic director of the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, the 25-member ensemble is tackling the Bard’s tragedy in a traditional manner with a little contemporary flair in terms of the costumes.
There will be a lot of sword fights, though.
I can’t wait to see Lakewood again. Rachel Gold, the artistic director of the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, previously told cleveland.com.
The community is really supportive of the stuff we do, and it’s one of our bigger locations.
It is requested that attendees bring snacks, chairs, and blankets.
