The Alice Busch Opera Theater at the Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown will host the awards ceremony, which will also feature a speech by Thomas Boswell, the 2025 Baseball Writers Association of America Career Excellence Award winner.

At 3 p.m. ET, the awards presentation will start. Only MLB Network, MLB.TV, MLB.com, and the MLB App will broadcast it. Baseball Hall.org will stream the event live as well.

After being on the ballot with nine other finalists—Skip Caray, Rene Cardenas, Gary Cohen, Jacques Doucet, Ernie Johnson Sr., Mike Krukow, Duane Kuiper, Dave Sims, and John Sterling—Hamilton, who has been broadcasting baseball in Cleveland for 36 years, was chosen for the honor in December. The winner was chosen by a panel of baseball historians and 13 previous Frick Award winners.

The award is given to broadcasters who exhibit a dedication to excellence, high broadcasting standards, respect for the game, fan popularity, and peer recognition.
