Despite dealing with triple-digit temperatures during their joint workouts in Henderson, Nevada, the 49ers and Raiders will play on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium, one of the NFL’s newest stadiums.
News from training camp has been positive on both sides. 49ers tight end George Kittle gave the Raiders defense great marks, saying he didn’t anticipate that it would be so different from previous years’ defenses. According to the 49ers website, the video we were viewing appeared to be from a 2015 Seahawks tape.
In the meantime, it appears that Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers, and Tre Tucker, three offensive weapons for Las Vegas, have also benefited from the combined practice sessions.
Despite a long list of ailments, the 49ers offense is thriving thanks to players like Christian McCaffery, Brock Purdy, and Ricky Pearsall, as football fans have come to expect in recent years.
Although the Raiders had a 4-13 record at the end of the 2024 season, Geno Smith’s rejuvenation and some significant offseason additions and upgrades have given the team a bright future.
The 49ers finished last in the NFC West with a 6-11 record in 2024, despite having one of the most successful offenses in the NFL. Despite a few missing parts, the 49ers aim to regain their position as the NFC’s top team after so many great seasons.
Here are some tips to help you get ready for the game on Saturday.
