Suzuki will become the fourth member of the Hall of Fame, joining Dave Parker, Billy Wagner, and CC Sabathia.
Suzuki makes history by being the first Japanese player inducted into the Hall of Fame. He started his trip with a legendary nine-year swing across Japan and went on to compile an incredible 19-year career. He spent time with the Miami Marlins and New York Yankees, but he spent the most of his 14-year MLB career with the Seattle Mariners. Suzuki was just one vote away from being chosen unanimously.
