Former Ohio State football player included in Buckeyes’ 2025 Hall of Fame class: Buckeye Breakfast

Columbus, Ohio In October, Billy Price, a former standout for the Ohio State football program, will be inducted into the Buckeyes’ 2025 Hall of Fame class, adding to his legacy.

Price, who redshirted his true freshman season in 2013 while switching from defensive line to offensive line, was a four-star recruit from Austintown Fitch High School.

He started a program-record 55 straight games from 2014 to 2017.

After switching to center in his senior year, Price, who had played guard for his first three seasons, including on the 2014 national championship team, shot to national notoriety.

He received the Rimington Trophy as the country’s best center, was named the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year, and was named a unanimous All American in 2017—his second All-American selection overall.

Price will be one of ten former Buckeyes honored on the weekend of Ohio State’s football game against Minnesota (October 4).

Four Buckeyes make preseason watch lists

Security On Tuesday, preseason watch lists were expanded to include defensive tackle Eddrick Houston, offensive lineman Tegra Tshabola, linebacker Sonny Styles, and Caleb Downs.

Downs and Styles were identified as potential winners of the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is given to the best defensive player in the country each year.

The Outland Trophy, which is given yearly to the best interior lineman in the country, was given to Houston and Tshabola in recognition of their achievements.
