Driver cited for license plate expired since 2024: Hinckley Township Police Blotter

License expired, Ledge Road

At 11:18 p.m. on June 3, a motorist was stopped for running a stop sign at the intersection of Ridge and Ledge roads. The driver was determined to have multiple outstanding warrants, and the vehicle’s registration plate had expired on January 7, 2024. A passenger was allowed to drive the vehicle away from the scene after she received a citation for both the traffic infraction and the expired license.

Criminal mischief, Center Road

At 7:40 p.m. on May 30, police looked into a criminal mischief report about a flag theft. At the time of the report, no additional information was available.

Ridge Road and fake plates

At 5:15 p.m. on May 16, a motorist was stopped for towing a trailer with an unlawful license plate. When the authorities failed to locate the vehicle to which the license plate was registered, the driver received a citation.
