Driver and passenger switch seats, but both have suspended licenses: Brunswick Police Blotter

At 12:26 a.m. on July 26, police pulled over a car after witnessing the driver park in a lot and switch seats with her passenger. The automobile was then driven out of the parking lot by the passenger. The initial driver had warrants from the Ohio State Patrol and the Parma Police Department, and police discovered that both ladies had suspended driver’s licenses. She was brought to the Medina County Jail after receiving a citation for driving while suspended. After being cited, the original passenger was let go.

Fox Drive Fireworks

At 3:42 a.m. on July 22, two men from North Royalton were cited by police for a fireworks discharge. After speaking with several individuals on the premises, police concluded that the two males were responsible for setting off the fireworks.

Center Road, impaired driver

On July 18, a driver was stopped for speeding at 2:19 a.m. After taking a breathalyzer test and registering more than two-and-a-half times above the legal limit for intoxication, the Cleveland man was arrested and brought to the Medina County Jail on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

New Market Trail, animal complaint

At 11:08 a.m. on July 22, a woman reported that she had been bitten by a dog while out for a walk and called the police. EMS sent the woman to the hospital after she sustained a wound to her forearm. In response to a suspected animal bite on New Market Trail, Brunswick Police arrived. The owner of the dog was found and given an animal-at-large citation.
