Browns running back exits Rams game, being evaluated for concussion

CLEVELAND Ohio After being struck by Rams safety Tanner Ingle on a 5-yard run with 7:20 left in the second quarter, Browns running back Pierre Strong Jr. left Saturday’s preseason game against the Rams in the first half.

After the play, Strong took a while to get up and headed to the sidelines. Before entering the blue medical tent, he and his teammates stood on the sidelines.

Then they led him back to the changing area.

In August 2023, Strong was traded to the Browns from the Patriots. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft and has spent the previous two seasons with the team. In 31 games, he has gained 399 yards on the ground and 151 yards on the ground.

Strong has been a vital member of the Browns’ kick coverage teams as well.
