Ohio’s North Royalton
Royalton Road drunk driving: On July 20, a worried bystander reported a white Chevy driving strangely on Royalton Road to the police.
The weaving Chevy, which was fast and didn’t stop at first, was found by an oncoming cop.
The officer saw that the driver seemed to have soiled his shirt and slacks while speaking with him; he was sluggish and wobbly on his feet.
The officer’s subsequent detection of a pee and alcohol odor verified that.
The driver acknowledged drinking a few beers and stated that he was not only traveling to Berea but also coming from there.
The man was detained for drunken driving after failing a field sobriety test in which he had to balance on his arms.
In addition, he received citations for speeding, weaving, not staying in designated lanes, and disobeying a policy direction.
Disorderly conduct, Spruce Run: A loud complaint prompted police to respond to a Spruce Run property on July 19.
The music was turned up and the windows down when an officer arrived and found the empty silver Chrysler.
At that point, a woman showed up acting drunk, smelling like alcohol, and spewing profanities.
The woman entered the Chrysler with the intention of driving and was told to exit the car, which had a half-bottle of alcohol in a paper bag.
The resident received a citation for disorderly conduct, open container, loud radio, impeding official business, and physical control of a motor vehicle.
