Armed robbery reported on Geauga County highway, sheriff’s office says

Around 10:57 p.m., a lady contacted 911 to say that someone had pulled a gun on her and demanded money while she and her husband were heading west on U.S. 422 close to Munn Road, according to a call log from the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office.

The caller informed dispatchers that the mask-wearing suspects slowed down and forced them to stop when they pulled in front of their gray or silver Toyota RAV4. According to reports, two people exited the suspect car that was thought to be in front of the victims’ car and came up brandishing guns, though the victims were unable to identify the kinds of weapons.

After the suspects left the area, the victims claimed they were told not to look up for five minutes.
