Unruly behavior: Smith Road
At around 1:30 p.m. on August 11, officers discovered an inebriated Parma man laying on a sidewalk with his pants down outside Tavern 150, 5771 Smith. He was cited and sent to a hospital.
Because the man was lying on the sidewalk with his private parts visible, someone contacted the cops. The man was lying on his side when the police came. His bare buttocks were dirty and covered in sores, and he was unconscious.
The man told the police his name when they awakened him up. He had an alcoholic odor. He could not open his eyes, and his speech was slurred.
Police were informed by a bartender at Tavern 150 that the man had only been inside for roughly half an hour. “I seemed fine at the time,” he added.
The man was transported by paramedics to Parma’s MetroHealth System.
Drug possession and paraphernalia, arrest warrant served: Holland Road
At around 10 p.m. on August 13, a car check on Holland close to Lee Drive resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old Cleveland woman who was wanted.
Because the woman’s registration sticker was folded over and unreadable, authorities stopped the Honda Civic she was riding in. Later, they found out that the sticker was no longer valid.
Police in North Olmsted, Walton Hills, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol were notified that the woman was wanted.
The 33-year-old Parma lady who was driving without a driver’s license. She was recognized by one officer, who was aware of her involvement in drug-related offenses.
A police K-9 showed up, sniffed the Civic, and said there were drugs inside. Two tiny, rock-like materials that authorities thought were illegal narcotics were discovered in the automobile.
Three glass smoking pipes were also in the vehicle. The driver received a citation and could be charged with more crimes if the car’s contents turn out to be illegal drugs.
Being intoxicated while driving: Eastland Road
When police discovered a 32-year-old woman inebriated in the driver’s seat of a car parked in the lot of Credit First National Association, 6275 Eastland, she was taken into custody at around three in the morning on August 10.
There was a dog in the back seat, and the car’s engine was running. Police made a fruitless attempt to wake her. The woman didn’t wake up until the dog began to bark.
The woman claimed that she was so exhausted that she pulled her car over to sleep. She acknowledged consuming three alcoholic beverages. She had an alcoholic odor, and her eyes were wet and glassy.
Field sobriety tests were unsuccessful for the woman. Two open alcohol containers were discovered by police in her vehicle.
Property damage: Interstate 480
On August 8, a Brook Park homeowner reported to police that she was traveling on I-480 between the West 130th Street and West 150th Street exits when a piece of wood struck and damaged her windshield.
Although she wasn’t positive, the resident thought the wood had fallen from a truck.
Eastland Road was stolen.
A construction truck parked outside Digital Room, 6410 Eastland, had a catalytic converter cut and stolen by an unidentified man.
Security footage shows that the incident happened at three in the morning on August 4. The work truck was parked behind a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
After exiting the Jeep, the driver chopped the work truck’s catalytic converter off with an electric saw.
A former employee who departed before the corporation had a chance to terminate him was suspected by a management of the Digital Room.
Property damage: Leslie Drive
At before 5:30 a.m. on August 11, a resident of Leslie called the police to report that her home’s doorframe was cracked.
The door and doorframe had no pry marks visible to the police.
