Vandalizing boys tear railing from loading dock at business: Highland Heights Police Blotter

On August 13, a Jet Inc. manager reported damage to a loading dock railing.

Six unidentified lads were seen sitting on the railing in the surveillance footage. The railing was once pushed and pulled till it broke off by one of them. The teenagers then departed after he flung it into the parking lot.

Since Sky Zone and Jet Inc. share a building, it is thought that the teenagers were at Sky Zone earlier in the evening when the event occurred.

Wilson Mills Road is the suspect.

At 1:21 a.m. on August 17, officers went to check on a man who was stumbling while strolling close to the St. Paschal Church.

He claimed to be fine, but he left his automobile at the Highlander Tavern after drinking too much.

He was given a courtesy ride by officers to his Lyndhurst residence.

Vehicle under suspicion: Wilson Mills Road

At 10:13 p.m. on August 16, Home Depot management reported that a car had been parked in a handicap space for some time, and the person inside was constantly getting in and out and moving around.

They claimed that having staff members working in the business after closing made them anxious.

After making sure the man was okay, officers found the car and sent him off.

Medway Road is the disturbance.

On August 17, police were called after a kid was seen sobbing outside his house.

When his parents took him outside to settle him down after a tantrum, they discovered that he was OK.

Theft: Road Cranbrook

On June 18, a resident reported that, within the last hour, her son’s bike had been taken from her garage.

Officers were informed by a neighbor that they had previously witnessed a man and woman leaving the area on a bike that matched the stolen one’s description and a scooter.

The bike was worth 600 dollars.

Investigations are underway into the incident.
