North Ridgeville football: Rangers out to keep established pace — 2025 camp tour

Published On:

Ohio’s Strongsville Following their four-team football scrimmage at Strongsville on Friday, North Ridgeville coach Bryan Morgan reminded his team that the previous season is over.

The Rangers competed in the Southwestern Conference after breaking through with nine victories. Some of the best programs in Northeast Ohio, including Suburban League champion Wadsworth in the playoffs and SWC champion Avon, had to defeat them.

SWC Defensive Player of the Year and All-Ohio linebacker Carson Madis, Austin DeShazo, and all-around threat Charlie Steinmetz are among their best players who have graduated. But Zack Barnhart, the team’s fourth-year starting running back, is back along with defensive lineman Hemzah Fahmawi and quarterback Cole Miller.

“We gained a lot of knowledge,” Miller added. Many of the young men were able to observe the proper way to conduct things. The O-line will need to step up significantly this season after witnessing that senior group arrive. We should have a successful, growing year.
