PARMA, Ohio Next season, the Invaders will feel secure and attractive.
This is because the Cleveland Browns, Ohio Lottery, University Hospitals, Meijer, and Xenith Helmets just announced that the Normandy High School football team would be the winner of the HELMETS program.
Ian Kost, the football coach at Normandy High School, stated, “We applied for a grant and we were awarded it.”
We got 85 lids from the Browns. Myles Garrett wears clothing from the Xenith brand. The helmets are simply spotless. It’s about the safest product available on the market.
According to the coach, the donation is worth about $88,000.
The team will be able to wear various home and away uniforms thanks to the gift, even though the organization buys up to 20 new helmets per year.
“We already have some really nice orange chrome matted black,” he said. The new helmets include chrome orange and white accents. They appear ill.
It’s about the children. They were going crazy. It was the coolest thing ever, in their opinion.
By giving high school football teams brand-new Xenith football helmets, the HELMETS program seeks to improve player safety in the sport.
Programs must pledge to improve player health and safety by signing up for USA Football’s medically endorsed Heads Up Football program, which provides certification clinics to teach coaches about sudden cardiac arrest, heat emergency preparedness and hydration, proper equipment fitting, Heads Up Tackling, Heads Up Blocking, and concussion recognition and response protocols.
Chris Medaglia, athletic director for Parma City Schools, stated, “We are extremely grateful for the Cleveland Browns donation and the impact it will make on our program.”
Our children are thrilled.
Normandy High School has already been in the end zone when it comes to Cleveland Browns gifts.
Kost remarked, “I’m not sure if locals truly understand how giving the Browns are.” Numerous turf fields have been constructed for human use. They were discarding old equipment last year.
We were invited out by the Browns to take everything we desired. For instance, I wore cleats when I left. That’s significant since not all children can afford cleats. They do a lot for the community, even though I know they don’t win many games at the professional level.
