Criminal damage and assault: Pearl Road

Charges have been brought against a 28-year-old Cleveland woman who, on July 14, hit another lady in the face and caused damage to her vehicle outside Chipotle Mexican Grill, 6860 Pearl.

At around 10 p.m. that day, the 21-year-old victim told police that she had come to Chipotle earlier to meet a friend. She got out of her car and took a seat in her friend’s front passenger seat.

The woman from Cleveland pulled up in a Ford sport utility vehicle and parked next to her friend’s vehicle. The girl was inside her friend’s car when the Cleveland woman approached her and punched her in the mouth.

After that, the Cleveland woman went to the victim’s vehicle and severed the back windshield wiper. The license plate was also bent by her. Then she took off in her car.

The Cleveland woman was not located despite police searching the area. It was unclear how the cops identified the Cleveland woman or if the victim knew her.

The Cleveland woman was not reached by the police. Charges of assault and criminal damage against the woman were signed by the victim.

Theft: Pearl Road

On July 15, between 5:30 and 6:35 p.m., a credit card was taken from a locked locker at Crunch Fitness, located at 6849 Pearl.

The victim claimed that the locker door was open when he got back to it after an hour or so of exercise. His wallet was empty of the credit card.

The victim found out that the credit card had been used to purchase $303 worth of goods from Target in Parma when he checked the banking app on his phone. He reported the incident to his credit card company.
