Seven Hills Home Days returns July 18-20

SEVEN HILLS, Ohio — The 51st annual Seven Hills Home Days takes place July 18 through 20 at the City Hall grounds.

“Home Days continues to get better,” Seven Hills Mayor Anthony D. Biasiotta said. “Every year, we look for ways to get more people involved.

“Therefore, we added the Run for the Hills 5K/1 Mile family walk this year on July 20 to provide a fun physical activity for those looking for something more active than our historic offerings.”

The mayor said one of the biggest attractions to the three-day festival is the food.

“We have an Italian sausage vendor who does a really good job,” he said.

“I’ll have a couple of them and maybe on the third day get some barbecue.”

Music continues to play a key role in the Seven Hills Home Days experience.

This year’s lineup features Gem Stone (July 18), One Night With You: Elvis (July 18), Jam Machine (July 18), Barlow Boys (July 19), Bronx Country (July 19), Monica Robbins and the Whiskey Kings (July 19), Bridge the Gap 216 (July 20), Hayden Grove (July 20) and Ace Molar (July 20).

There are also plenty of returning activities such as the chicken wing eating competition, cornhole tournament, safety fair with police and fire department vehicles, beer garden and fireworks (July 18 and 19).

For the younger attendees, there’s a kids zone with attractions, as well as a princess concert followed by a meet-and-greet (July 19) and bubble party (July 20).

One event returning for the second year in a row is Mega Championship Wrestling, appearing on July 20.

“We did it on a trial basis in 2024,” he said.

“Feedback from those who attended was that it was interesting to see something new and different that they haven’t seen at other festivals.”

From flying elbows to flying wrestlers jumping off the ropes, dozens of wrestlers from the Lorain County-based operation will be showcasing their skills.

“Seven Hills Home Days was pretty good last year, a lot of people showed up,” Mega Championship Wrestling owner Charles Bruce said.

“It’s friendly-family type stuff and it’s on a Sunday too.”

Asked if he’ll be showing up in the ring, Mayor Biasiotta didn’t have to think twice.

“Absolutely not,” he laughed. “Maybe in the dunk tank.

“There are a couple of handfuls of people who would really enjoy that. Maybe we should do that as a fundraiser — dunk the mayor.”
