Ohio On June 27, two individuals were arrested in Cleveland after a high-speed pursuit that followed an undercover drug operation.

Around 5:20 p.m., Garfield Heights Police Department officers and Ohio Investigative Unit (OIU) agents saw what they characterized as an active drug trade on Garfield Boulevard, which sparked the incident.

The suspect vehicle’s driver allegedly crashed into an OIU vehicle as authorities were approaching and ran away, sending officers on a chase through the neighborhood.

When the suspect struck a signpost close to Ottawa Road, the pursuit came to a halt.

Both the driver and the passenger tried to escape on foot but were caught right away.

38 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 23 grams of suspected powder cocaine, 8 grams of suspected fentanyl, a loaded Glock.357 handgun, and over $3,000 in cash were found during the vehicle’s search.

The driver is presently on parole, according to the police, and there are still unresolved crimes involving narcotics trafficking and evading arrest. Due to prior weapons charges, the passenger is currently on probation. The suspects’ names are still under wraps.
